Gawain was thought to be lost following his capture by enemy troops in the Great War. It is said they threw his wounded body into a furnace in an attempt to execute him, but neither his body nor his armour were found. The rumour of this Knight rising again from the ashes and smoke has become a story of Oligarch legend.
